I contacted Sage after reading his positive reviews. I am so happy he was available. This job was a mixed bag of power washing, gutter cleaning, construction and repair work. Whew! He did it all. He even went out of his way to talk to someone trimming trees in the neighborhood. I was able to get them to do tree work for me and would never have found them on my own.
As close to perfect as you can get. Sage shows up on time, swiftly moves through projects, and best of all, powers through all project challenges and adheres to a very high standard of perfection. He can do all kinds of work, too. He’s a rare breed and just what we’re all looking for. Sage has done two full days of work at my house so far and accomplished everything on my list. I’ve even expanded the list because he can do so many things. Out of five stars I give Sage six.
Sage did a GREAT job for me and clearly takes a lot of pride in doing every job well. He arrives on time, works diligently, seems to know how to do anything, and cleans up after himself. I am VERY happy with his work and will be calling
What an awesome job Santa Cruz Handyman Services did for us! We have a two-story lazy Susan in a corner kitchen cabinet. The top shelf fell off of its brackets. It was easy to install originally before the counter top was installed. But now, it was a very tight and difficult space to work in. I tried for several hours to get it back onto the brackets but to no avail. Not only did SCHS get it back onto the brackets but put in additional wood braces to make it extra sturdy so it will never fall off again. Sage is fantastic! I hired Sage to help with a bunch of stuff and I couldn’t be happier. He responded super fast to emails and even managed to fit me in earlier than expected, which was a nice bonus. He replaced some door trim, installed a bar in my closet, replaced a dishwasher shutoff valve, and assembled a very large flat pack furniture for me. Sage gave me some good advice on other things I wanted done, which I really appreciate. There were no surprises in charges, it was exactly what he told me – hourly rate + parts. In all, calling Sage was a great decision and it has made my life much better. I will definitely be calling him for all my future handyman needs.
I needed a couple of fences fixed that blew over in the wind, 2 gates, a window frame that rotted, a door fresh hold, and then there are always a few other things that need attention ! Sage called almost immediately, set a time, arrived promptly and got to work..everything was fixed, plus the items added like a tree trim, garbage disposal, new fire alarms .
Sage spotted some issues and gave wise advice, nice guy, he will now be my go to handyman for Santa Cruz, many thanks !
I used Sage for my first time based on yelp reviews and was glad i did.
Sage was punctual, knowlegeable, and professional. He efficiently diagnosed the issues and resolved them. He is experienced in many areas vs. some handymen that have a narrower scope. He fixed a loose board under our stairwell and adjusted a problematic glass sliding shower door.
I highly recommend Sage and will use him again.
Sage has done a number of jobs at our home over the last few months. The work has included carpentry, power washing, painting, plumbing, electrical and more. His work ethic and variety of skills are excellent. He’s a good communicator, creative problem-solver, reliable and honest. We will certainly call him again when the need arises.
